How can you drift with all wheel drive? wouldnt the front pull away and the back wont slide as much?
Kiasko 2 months ago
@Kiasko Most of the torque split is heading to the rear wheels, especially on "Tarmac" mode. So with this kind of power it's easy to get a drift going, just not at an angle as high as a RWD vehicle.

Ok so let me ask this. On a AWD vehicle, how do you get it to drift like that? Just grab another gear and smash it?
tripovermyego 2 months ago
@tripovermyego Well on the Evo X I find the best way is simply to add more power, you've got to get over the traction threshold.

how do you do that with out the car fliping over?
miami4lyfe 4 months ago
@miami4lyfe A car will rarely flip without hitting an object, the tires will eventually give way and slide. Furthermore, this car has most of its weight down low in the drivetrain (most body panels are aluminium). So its overall center of gravity is low, making it less susceptible to flipping.
