Did you see the Christmas one? The Snowmen were defeated via tears - lame. It also made supposed monsters like the Silurians & Sontarans into jokes. How dare you to compare that to Trial of a Timelord.

Actually he's writing a cheap imitation of it. A sort of spin-off. "The Hungry Earth" is just a second-rate rip-off of the JNT produced DW 'Frontios'. Even the name 'hungry earth' is from a line in Fronios.

These so called "fans" remind of the whiners and haters on the internet who slam Steven Moffat, RTD and other new series writers. They don't understand that their opinions do NOT matter and that their criticism is NOT constructive at all. Most of them act like they're experts on writing when they've probably never written for television. They only people whose opinions matter are the writers' peers and the people who hand out the awards. So just shut up and watch the show already.
