As part of the Light Pollution symposium at the Market Place Theatre, Armagh, on Friday 18 September 2009, boys and girls from Mount St. Catherine's Primary School, Armagh participated in an inspirational Astro-art workshop. led by Armagh Rhymers (Dara Vallely, Peter Shortall and Seve Lally), staff from Mount St. Catherine's Primary School (Anne Hart, Brenda Campbell and Briege Delaney) and astronomer Miruna Popescu, Armagh Observatory, coordinator of the International Year of Astronomy in Ireland.

  • Am very touched!! beautiful!! Also so proud as my cousin is the teacher directing the children

  • I listened to this song being sung at the conference. I wasn't the only one with a tear in my eye for what we are losing. Something really must be done to preserve the dark night sky for kids to enjoy for real. What we "oldies" used to take for granted.
