In Europe they were called "Hero Turtles" instead of "Ninja Turtles" because most countries felt that it sounded too violent to call them ninjas so they just called them heroes. Ridicilous, i agree. =)

Wow listen to the TMNT theme piping through the sounds of the SID! So friggin' cool. Nothing makes me feel more nostalgic than the old tunes of the Commodore!

Just found this C64 version in the attic. Wow, the music is really horrible in this version compared to the NES version. I had both but the NES version was the good version to me. Still, good nostalgic memories from this as well.

Wait...it is this one that I remember....I think......I may be wrong, but as I remember..I think their lifebar were red istead of mix of red yellow green. And the mask and bandages to Leonardo were black istead of blue. So I think I had an Turtles Commandore game, but it was slighty different. Im not talking about the NES version as that game were released later. So what kind of version did I play...?

I had this game too when I had commandore 64...or wait..that game I had look slighty different than this version. I mean this game. Maybe it was an Commandore 128 computer I had istead....

To my opinion, the sound track on this system sounds better than the NES. What you guys think?

used to spend hours playing this, looks terrible
How do you "rip" VHS tapes? And how can I rip other such stuff, like say I have a couple of 8mm video casettes, how can I get these into my computer?

im not an expert, but i think that depends on the TV-ripper youve got.
With the TV-ripper ive got now i can only rip video from video system with SCART-sockets/SCART-cabels.
But it depends on the ripper. You just need to get the signal into your computer. If you can get your old video format onto a VHS-machine, then you can again get it into your computer via the TV-ripper (via a SCART-cable from the VHS into the computer).
Try googling it and ask in the TV-store.

yep. This was played on a commodore 64 in the late 80ties, and then recorded directly onto VHS.
Ive just recently ripped the VHS-tape
