I am fairly sure BP might just be fucking lying right here, what with their terrible enviromental record. Instead of trying to reform their company they are just hoping to rebrand it and hope that would work.
These guys are either fakes, or ignoring that BP actually INCREASED their dumping of industrial waste at the same time that those new ad's aired on tv.
Under BP's new Indiana state water permit, their refinery -- already one of the largest polluters along the Great Lakes -- can release 54 percent more ammonia and 35 percent more sludge into Lake Michigan each day. Ammonia promotes algae blooms that can kill fish, while sludge is full of concentrated heavy metals.
