Peter was an up an coming star in Australia in the early 90's and was being groomed for an international market. Here he seems to be going through a Michael Jackson stage.
During rehearsal there was some discussion about whether he could sing live and maintain his tune whilst performing a high energy dance routine. His management were adamant he should sing live to prove he had a good singing voice. In the end they may have regretted that decision. You be the judge.
