Boxer Francisco "Paco" Rodriguez told his wife, Sonia, that he wanted to be a hero. But that dream seemed shattered after Rodriguez slipped into a coma and was declared brain dead after losing a title fight in Philadelphia. Through organ donation, his uncle and four women received a gift of life.

I was there that night night. it was the second week in a row a boxer got severly hurt in the ring. The week before in vegas a boxer slipped into a coma after fighting at mandalay bay the night before cotto vs pacquiao. God rest his sole. Protect his family and bless those who were fortunate to recieve his organs.

Great story, a time of tragedy in this family & yet they're able to give the gift of life to some very grateful people, hard to not bring tears to your eyes like alot of these e60 heart warming stroies.

Two days ago, I never heard the name Paco Rodriguez. Now it is a name I will never forget. Not only does he live on in the bodies of those he saved, but he will live on in the hearts & minds of those he never knew.
