@redsox32394 That is only one sector of budget cutting ( which would save hundreds of billions of dollars) We also need to cut income security which are food stamps, unemployment benefits, and free health care.

@redsox32394 Good question, repealing the 16th amendment ( giving the congress the right to impose taxes) lowers National revenue by 40 %. What Libertarians like myself would like to see happen is simply balance the budget. We can do this by relocating our military where it was always meant to be. In the US!

@redsox32394 First you are manipulating the ideal to say "the Libertarian party doesn't want citizens to pay taxes. The ideal is that the paying of taxes is currently involuntary and forcibly asserted upon the US people. Moneys for such things as war and military can be funded simply through voluntary donations from supporters of the cause. Billions of dollars come voluntarily through individuals supporting particular causes and agendas and funding for the safety of our country would come also.

The point would be not to go to war, and have a very limited military, if one at all.
