Iran against U.S. in peaceful Afghanistan face-off

The U.S. is playing a double game in Afghanistan - fighting terrorists that it itself created. That's according to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who's visiting Kabul. Ahmadinejad's comments came after the US defence secretary Robert Gates accused Iran of supporting Taliban insurgents. Tehran has been helping Afghanistan combat the drug trade and rebuild infrastructure. Hamid Karzai said he hoped Tehran could further help restore peace and stability in the country. Foad Izadee, Professor of political studies at Tehran University believes Iran's involvement is more welcome in Afghanistan than Washington's.

@omarwalid1 farsi is the first language of afghanistan. even mostly ofpashtons who are living in tayik cities, like herat, kabul, balkh, ghazni,.. etc speak in farsi.

in fact, more % of afghan population speaks in farsi than in iran.
