Modern spoken word-Music video bringing the words I wrote, over a decade-and-a-half ago, when I was around 18 and living with a violent, paraoid schizophrenic mother. Much humility and compassion I have since learned in such karmic life lessons. I have felt there to be some Awareness wanting me to Awaken from the drama of this dream.

I feel very hurt for the child in you. We are all victims of victims. If your mother had known better, she would have done better. I was so happy to read that your mother has found peace. I hope your relationship has healed as well. I'd recommend a book by Louise Hay called "You Can Heal Your Life". Have you checked out Dattatreya Siva Baba on You Tube? He does a lot of Karma busting mantras & they have changed our lives.-Linga.

I am very glad for both of you that you have been able to move on.

This shouldn't be so public though, there is a lot of darkness in this piece and it really seeps out, there are better ways to deal with emotions than forcing them out onto other people.

It 's a childhood purging done through art as a finally more detached adult. : /

If we only had books, movies and music that dealt with the good times, I think people would miss out on a lot art, especially for others with similar backgrounds to relate to (as I have with other artists growing up - If they could endure, so could I, I felt).

Sorry it's a buzzkill but that's the truth in the duality in life.

many people go through darkness to find the light. that is just one element of creation. are we not allowed to feel any sadness, pain, anger or regret now, not allowed to express how we have felt? What kind of life is that?

When I take a clear look at almost everything creative in this world I see that it has come about as a release of some frustration. Art, theatre, music, film, literature, even the advances in science and technology, what drives people so hard to express, create or research and work with such enthusiasm is almost always dissatisfaction with the way things are.

There are a few people who have given us offerings of their experience of God, as it appears to them, but they are very rare.
