From the late 60's or early 70's, here's a very stylized, "hip" looking TV commercial for Fresca. Fresca was introduced in the US in 1966 and is still being made today after several recipe changes, thanks to those toxic artificial sweeteners.

  • Of all the pops, soda drinks, I think Fresca tastes the best. Lemony, citrus taste to it.

  • Yes, and I think the model is Cybill Shepherd!

  • How could a country get into so much trouble by the early '70s when they had commercials like this?

  • @shyphyre See if you can remember the old Fresca commercial lyrics that went, "Don't be left out in the warm... come, come, come on in where it's freezing!"

  • @noisepuppet It's refreshing to know we have an expert ball-taster here.

  • Voiced by Ernie Anderson, the announcer for ABC and The Carol Burnett Show.

  • @noisepuppet Fresca tastes like Alka Seltzer, and Tab with saccharine tasted like kerosene. How in the world did the Coca-Cola company make money with these two products?

  • @MelissaAmyB I must admit, I have not tried that.
