@COZYTW Well, actually iai refers to drawing your sword, making one slash and resheathing in one movement. It's meant to finish an opponent as quickly as possible, but it's not a magical "kills anything" attack.

In Japanese, Iai refers to a sword technique that finishes anything in one move. So yeah, you have to prevent Rei from hitting you once she casts Iai or THAT happens.

I don't get why the secrets are needed. Even if nobody visits anymore, they've got a labyrinth full of extremely vaulable stuff that they can grind forever and sell.

Just to fully understand this. They believe the only reason the city prospers is because people go down in the labyrinth and try to solve the mystery behind it?
And if somebody solved it nobody would go down there anymore? Wow, somebody talk about plot device O.o
And the Radha ordered them to do it.
So (theoretically speaking) if you wipe them out wouldn't you kinda take their place and murder everybody that comes that far? :D
