Bonnie's a good friend and can still wail BIG time, well in her 60s! She was on our little reality show, just last Summer and was a fun, soulful presence. Sadly, Delaney's gone, but he made his mark and lived his love for the music. Glad to see people, here, appreciate it!
Btw, I saw them open for Blind Faith a million years ago at the Baltimore Civic Center, with Dave Mason on Bass. GREAT show - I can hear it all these years later. Peace...

I love this chick.

outside of s. winwoods magnificent voice phrasing like ray charles... this is awfully authentic sounding coming from this cast of characters. very enjoyable post, stellar sound quality all things considered...roll with it baby.

I like watching that other backup singer guy's mouth

Theres obviously no denying the talent on show here, but this is soooo boring, and it sounds like their making it up as they go along.
Music to fade away to.

@zunopa1 ...agreed. D&B had incredible voices and obviously recognized the talent at hand and surrounded themselves with it. They played with the best for sure....and no one uses vocalized harmonies with guitars, back-up singers, and horns either....sad but true.

British musician were absolutely crazy about doing concerts with them. Clapton, Dave Mason, George Harisson all played in the band during a '69 England tour.
But Delaney and Bonnie behaved so badly in booze and coke fuelled fights that everyone left to join Joe Cocker's Mad Dogs&Englishmen tour, even Rita Coolidge who did back-up and was best friend with Bonnie.

Their often violent fights were legendary and they had been said having fought frequently. Delaney was kinda badass and Bonnie simply a girl one didn't mess with if one wanted to stay out of trouble.
Delaney once nearly shot Jac Holzman from Electra just due to the fact that he didn't find any D&B records in a local music shop. This then was the end of the Electra engagement...
But making heavenly music they did nevertheless.
