  • I am so sorry to hear about Dinsdale! We lost a greyhound ,Jack (our first) to osteosarcoma! He was only 7 and we had him for four years! I know how painful this is! We found that the best thing to do was to go out and adopt another grey! We adopted two! You have my best wishes and my sympathy1

  • Osteosarcoma is exactly what Dinsdale had. Not willing to put him through an amputation, we had him put down.

  • I am so very sorry for your loss - what an angel

  • Thanks for your kind words. We love the Wish and Ginger videos (especially when they're "gettin' jiggy with it"!!!).

  • I am so sorry for your loss.

He looks just like my hound Gracie. They were born the same year, she died of stomach cancer in late 2009. I miss her terribly and still cry most days. She was my best friend too.

May they both rest in peace.

  • i lost a greyhound too. its tough

  • Oh boy, The dog has my name

  • Loveey Dinsdale! My Greyhound and Dinsdale could pass as brothers.

Great tribute. I especially like the last picture!

    Run fast and free Dinsdale!

  • so sorry... but hopefully u will remember u can't bring him back, and he is in a better place now. :) no point i grieving, he was a gift toy uo, a friend, and now he is gone, it is time to move on.

    Hope my words helped. :)

  • I am so sorry....its hard to loose an animal

  • so sorry. dinsdale was very sweet and i enjoyed watching him

  • We were not offered an amputation, because Jack had it in the shoulder! but I have read that once you can see it and there are symptoms, it has already spread! I believe that some people keep their pets going for themselves! Once Jack cried out in pain, even with RX, we put him down! I have tears in my eyes as we speak! I do ache, but our three girls make it easier!
