@mari0man I think it's more because she misunderstood the way the two sounds (o, and o with either an u or a macron) is normally romanised (which isn't helped by the fact that the Japanese government uses a different system for romanisation than is accepted in actual English-speaking countries.) I actually have no idea whether it's really o or ou in her name though.
