Here is the 3rd movement from Vaughan-Williams short suite derived from his opera "Sir John in Love". This was the first recording of the piece in 1960. Elsie Morison sings as the disguised Anne Page; the Bach Choir, Jacques Orchestra with Reginald Jacques, conducting. (Just prior to his retirement!)

This work appeared originally on the same recording as Morison's performance with the same forces singing Mendelssohn's "Hear My Prayer". (See my playlist for that!)

The photo image during the video is of the great conductor Rafael Kubelik and Mrs. Kubelik (Elsie Morison).
