The best band ever- The BFers classic line-up with Country Dick Montana and Joey Harris and Jerry Raney and Rollie Love. Awesome. Enjoy fellow maggots........

  • to me the original line up included Buddy Blue, way better singer then Rainey. Unfortunately dead also ....

  • @brando7770 Perhaps but Joey Harris was with the band from 1986 onward and was certainly a great fit. Buddy was a different singer but certainly not "way better" than Jerry or Joey.

  • Filmed at St. Cecilia's at 6th & Cedar in San Diego. At the time it was known as the 6th Avenue Playhouse. It was a theater until 2005, when it was shut down because it needed expensive earthquake renovations. Now it's going to be turned into a restaurant.

  • Adams Ave Street Fair...Sept 25 4:30......THE BEAT FARMERS

  • Saw thede guys at the Bacchanaal on New Year's eve 1987 (?)

Also at the Belly Up in Solana Beach.

sold out both venues, and were soooo entertaining you almost couldn't believe this was a San Diego band.

They set the bar, no pun intended!

RIP Buddy Blue and Country Dick!

  • Truly one of the greatest songs ever written. If I already wrote that, sorry for the repetition.

  • Awesome to see this video and hear this song again. I was at the taping of the Hollywood Hills video and am in the crowd. Ahhhh The Beat Farmers, crazy good old Rock n Roll!!! San Diego style.

  • Really, when it came to the Beat Farmers Live.. I gave out cigars at the Concert, my wife said go for it...
