This is biblically correct! How many times did I encounter atheists who turned their backs on God, just because of this demonic doctrine of eternal hellfire. It is almost impossible to convince a rational thinking person, that God is love, when there is this evil concept, that an all loving and merciful God will punish unbelievers for all eternity in his torture chamber called hell.

Thank you pastor Doug for this liberating message. As Christians we must uphold Gods character with Bible truth!

@medusa210562 matt 3:12,luke 3:17 mark 9 :43 says unquenchable fire , that means its doesnt go out . unquenchable fire in greek is asbestos , which can translate to unquenchable the eternal fire to punish the damned. or inextingguishable or the fire that cannot be put out , jude 12-13(reserved FOREVER) daniel12:2,3 matt 25:46,jn5:28,rev2014,15 everyone will exist eternally either in heaven or hell. if a person ceases to exist , it denies the ressurection of unsaved.john 5:28

Stucky,many times in the scriptures the word forever is us as not meaning eternal but untill its final..We cant look at the translation as an contadition .when God says the wicked shall be will perish the shall be as stubble they shall be no more,thats pretty clear...Also he says behold everything is changed,behold everthing become new,,,NO MORE PAIN,or sorrow..A new Heaven and a new Earth will I make..Back like it was before sin entered in..I serve a just and loving God.
