Luke the baby squirrel monkey spent the weekend at our house. Luke was abandoned by his mom at a zoo in southern california. They needed to find him a new home and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom took him in. To get a little extra TLC, Luke occasionally visits zookeeper homes but his primary residence is at Discovery Kingdom. Luke will be an animal ambassador for educational presentatins.

@BboyChrizCrozz I think that they meant it is not THEIR pet, and that it is a monkey from the Zoo that they brought to their house for a little while. I dont think that they meant it cannot make a good pet, in fact I think this video is proof of the opposite. The poster was just saying that it wasnt THEIR pet. I think. I want a monkey so bad XD

Though I hope you also teach people how this is the worst and most of all the most demanding pet a person can have ! Movies and popular culture twist the facts around so much and all this cuteness makes people think its really is a pleasant animal to own.

The monkey IS NOT A PET, he is an educational animal ambassador at a zoo. This video was taken when he was a baby. He lives full time at the zoo where he receives expert care, socialization and enrichment. Having him spend some time at our home greatly helped his comfort level with people and children as an introduction to living at the zoo and as an outreach animal.
