The Choking Game A Jemi One Shot

Recently on the Dr. Oz show they did a segment on the Choking game. Its this game where you choke yourself until you pass out and then come back and there's this sensation of feeling high. Its like doing drugs or smoking because its deadly and has many risks. This game kills blood cells which can cause seizures and heart attacks . And it also could end a life. It is mostly diagnosed as suicide but its not at all. The people who play this game could have an enjoyable life but to play this game this is permanently damaging This touched me in many ways because as a teen myself, I know we make stupid choices and at times but this is something that I saw as sad and stupid which made me write this one shot.


The Choking Game
Demi's POV
"Joe, its dangerous, stop playing this game." I whispered to Joe.
"Yeah but its so addicting." He said and he pretend tackled me trying to get me to play it.
"Joe, stop." I said but he already locked me into a choke. Everything went black.
Joe's POV
"Demi, wake up, this is the best part." I said shaking Demi to wake up. Silence.
"Demi, seriously, wake up." I shook her lifeless body and nothing happened. She was out cold. I was hoping she would wake up but she didn't. I checked for a pulse she was dead and I was the reason why.
A Few Months Later
"It was a harmless game." I said to a camera. I was filming a PSA for 'The Choking Game'. I learned the hard way that it wasn't a game; it wasn't me who experienced the consequences but my best friend and love of my life. I hadn't told her yet but it was coming if I hadn't killed her.
"But what happens when you don't wake up. There is no best part." I said to the camera. Then the red light went out. The camera was done recording.
