I'm not saying this as a slam on George Jones (I love the guy), but his cover of this song doesn't come close. It's almost criminal how little recognition Jamie O'Hara has gotten in the grand scheme of country music.

@MsJomamma He was a High School all star at Ottawa Hills high school, suburb of Toledo Ohio. Went to Indiana University and if memory serves me correctly he damaged a knee on his first kick off return.

This guy wa spartners with Kieran Kane in the late 1980's as the O'Kanes. Jaime Ohara wrote a number one hit for the Judds. He is an exeptional writer.

I had this album, until a thief decided to break into my house and steal most of my cds. This one I really miss. I do need to see if I can find a copy. He is awesome.

"rise above it"....best album out there....song by song, it seems to get better abd better 1-9.....i can't seem to find a used cd anywhere....i will keep searching...Jamie is very underrated singer, and a great songwriter
