Paul Haugen demonstrates this machine that we received in a buyout from Tucson's Chicago music store. This machine only needed some cleaning. I only get two perhaps German links when I do a quoted search for this machine. So I suspect they are probably quite rare. I thought people might enjoy hearing some of the tones we recorded from this thing. Wonderful harmonic interplay on the low end there in particular. You had to be there to get the full impact of course but it really is a great instrument for creating the kinds of sounds Paul gets out of it there in the last half when he starts doing chords on the low end.

  • I just bought one of these for $50. After years of paying the premium for my instruments, I finally get a break!

    :)

  • Congrats! Hope it all works well for you. I'm sure those don't just pop up every day, especially for that amount! :-)

  • There are not many Hohner organs in Denmark either. I think it's because most people think of Hohner as a company that makes accordeons and mouth organs. So their electric organs are a bit overshadowed.

  • Yeah possibly. That was my first instrument...Hohner melodica. hehe. The Clavinet series got them a lot of attention of course but their other products are relatively obscure for sure.

  • @isrsold "STALACTITE" LES AIGLONS USE HOHNER SYMPHONIC

  • I had one!! - my first keyboard as a 16 year old teenager in the late 1060s. Ran it through a Fender Bassman amp. Finally sold it and bought a Hammond B3 and 122 Leslie. It was a cool combo organ though. Nice to see one still around - yeah, they are extremely rare.

  • I had one from 1968 -1973 through many bands and gigs.

Finally sold it and bought a B-3 and Leslie 122. Very cool to see one again!!
