This film has all the cliches, doesn't it? Evil, arrogant bosses, hypocritical, small-minded chapel-goers, sadistic, snobby schoolteachers all conspiring against the noble, honest working man. The former Soviet Union, at the height of its power couldn't have made a better propaganda piece for socialism. McCarthy was right and should have been allowed to complete his work.
