  • A great comical, rambling version of Sugar Mountain!

It's the last show of the tour, and Neil relaxes and lets his sense of humor take over this classic tune...

  • "...the barkers and the coloured balloons..."

Is there any better imagery conveyed by words ?

  • this song was commonly played down at Occupy LA and i have to say it was amazing sitting in a circle of 20 people with a few guitars and playing this with each person singing as loud as they could. There was complete and total solidarity. it was perfect.

  • I played this version of Sugar Mtn. many, many times on the radio from the Bootleg that I had, simply called "Live on Suager Mountain" cheaply packaged in an all blue cover. This is THE Best version of this song... period. Neil being self panning and all. This is a great version to play for people who hate this song. I am forever angry with the bootlegger who cuts off the charging and momentary exhilarating applause at the end. A bummer. I wished This full version was released in the box, alas.

  • When I ran away from home a hundred years ago, I made sure I had Neil's records packed up with me.

  • @Msdistarr Well said my brother:]

  • @williambarr52 How great that must have been. I grew up with his music and he has always been one of my favorite's. I did see him when he toured with Pearl Jam in the 90's. It was amazing but I would have loved to have seen him back then. That period of time with this music, just had a different feel. It was so special. You also mentioned his guitar playing. I don't think people give him nearly the respect he deserves for his talent as a guitarist. He is up there with the best of them.

  • I attended this concert, Neil Young sat on a single chair on the stage. Magnificent acoustical guitar and classic Neil Young singing. Wonderful. Strange he did not play an encore.

  • Everyone who had been inclined to sing along got too chagrined when Neil said they couldn't clap in time!
