When an individual resorts to an authority based argument in a reason based discussion, you can guarantee that he or she damn well knows the consequences of his or her actions. It does not surprise me that all these people who mistreated animals and tried to give a defense for their actions did just that.

I say even a sick monkey is worth twenty healthy humans. People need to stand up for animals, and the less humans there are on this planet, the better, i say. Sick child or not, it will grow up to be an animal hater or something similar. Or it wont grow up at all, good riddance.
