Pokémon Heart Gold - Lucky Egg Trick

A trick to get Lucky Eggs in Heart Gold/Soul Silver.
After beating the Johto Elite 4, you will have swarms announced on your Radio. This trick only works if Chansey is the Pokémon announced.

This is my version to get a Luvdisc with Heart Scale in Black/White

You will need;

A Gothita/Gothorita/Gothitelle with Frisk.

A Joltik/Galvantula with CompoundEyes

All 8 Badges + having beaten Ghetsis

A Super Rod

Now follow this video, but fishing for Luvdisc. When you get one, use the goth pokemon to check if it has a heart scale or not

@RayquazaIsEpic Interesting idea, except the Joltik/Galvantula with CompoundEyes isn't really needed, unless you are REALLY unlucky. Luvdisc has a 50% chance of holding a Heart Scale. Primape was there for using Covet (Thief would work too) to steal the Lucky Egg from Chansey without actually catching it.

if you cant get the swarm announcements for the chanseys, there are some in the safari zone. set the area custom thing on the meadow, put down 12 plain type blocks.

I recommend that you bring a level 42 or 41 pokemon, put it at the front, and then use repels to avoid encountering raticates.

they are pretty hard to catch though and cause you cant send out pokemon, you cant use thief or compound eyes, so you should try this if you cant get the swarm announcement
