Hou Hsiao-Hsien's masterpiece "Three Times" explores love in three different eras - 1911, 1966, 2005 - all of which, so different, yet portrayed by the same two actors. This segment, "A Time for Love," is probably one of the most authentically romantic segments of cinema ever filmed.
Martin Scorsese and Jim Jarmusch both feel this film is one of the most original films to come out in recent years:
