-
@rockwillor better get an epic super computer then
-
@HolyKrap92 It's really annoying when I record at really low frames per second, cause if you move the mouse even a bit, it looks like your jerking your own head off!
I try to get to a spot where I don't have to move, so I can just stand still and watch it all happen! =D

Your VGA must be super strong to handle a lot of boxes
-
omg i want a pimped out PC so badly just for this
-
This would also be a cool game on multiplayer (if crysis has multiplayer) to see if someone could live through this or something.
-
Hey in Crysis 2 will there be the sandbox mode??
-
how did you lay down?
-
@HolyKrap92 my specs are close to that and i ran it but yes it was on low.
I record videos as well, so I know how to use the technique you used in this video.
But you shouldn't jerk around so much while recording the video, move the mouse slowly so it looks natural. I found that it makes for a much more enjoyable video. =D

@prokentsful Yeah I was trying to go as smoothly as possible but this was when I had a weird mouse that liked to shoot around at random times :(

can you tell me something about your computer? processor, graphic card, windows, ram etc
marlena7271026 1 year ago
@marlena7271026 Q6600 @ 2.4 ghz, GTX 280 1gb vram, 4 GB of DDR2 RAM, Windows 7 x64. I'm able to run Crysis at a playable framerate on highest settings, but that isn't needed for recording at a constant framerate of 30 using this trick.

@HolyKrap92 Will this run on the highest settings with the GTX460/470/480m? Please, notice the 'm' which is the notebook series, everyone I asked got that mistaken >_>

@FlyingLaptop After looking at the specs, it seems worse than the GTX 280.
It doesn't look like you'd be able to run it on highest settings smoothly.
Here's one entry from their specs:
GTX 280 Texture Fill Rate (billion/sec): 48.2
GTx 480M Texture Fill Rate (billion/sec): 18.7
Doesn't look like the 480M was built for playing high-end games smoothly
