  • OSHA issued willful and serious violations to Cudahy for allegedly failing to provide such equipment, and warning or training the workers about flash hazards."

  • "Three workers were reported to have been troubleshooting electrical switchgear at the Cudahy, Wis., facility when electricity arched and exploded. OSHA's investigation revealed that the three workers, all of whom received first, second and third degree burns throughout their bodies, were not using insulated tools, were not wearing proper personal protective equipment, and were not following appropriate safety standards. • Actually all three were injured by the arc blast explosion. Notice the helmet didn't fall off. The hairnet and helmet harness was melted into the skin. Flames inhaled damaged lungs. One was induced into coma for a long time.

  • The explosion primarily involved copper wire and copper conductors, which vaporized at 35,000° F. Every cubic inch of copper expands to 70,000 cubic inches of copper vapor. The white cloud is the hot copper vapor.

  • yeah we have seen this video so many times at tafe, they should of been standing on an insulated mat, wearing HV protective clothing, and one man on stand by at least 15 metres away, they did everything wrong to make an accident occur. i would love to know what he was actually trying to measure. someone should of told him to take it of AMPS

  • one of the first rules i was taught when i started, even when someone tells you its not live, check for yourself, and treat it as if it was live anyways. they shouldve had arc suits not to mention i dont think all 3 of them needed to be standing there.

  • @0yeah1mFkU What the fuck is that about?

  • I bet they were union electricians...

  • Ni99az got Fucked uP!

  • Props for not being a fake video alone...

  • my god...

  • Naw dawg im fine just feel young again and and where r my clothes?

  • I suspect the journeyman was told the panel was cold but didn't check it. Once I was told that a panel I was to cut out was cold. But I stood on a plastic insulator. The idiot that told me the panel was cold only disconnected the 110 but the 220 was still hot. The arc melted the end of the saws all. I almost beat that asshole electrician to death. He was afraid of me after that and didn't want to work with me. That was fine with me.

  • shocking

  • Kill yourself!

    Americans аmericans... XDDD
