Water overcomes almost anything. It cut the grand canyon! Iain explains how the water principle can be used to flow around a guard or defence and then wear down an opponent.

  • I like your tutorials there great good info. I like instructors that have these skills i give me great insperation to see this can all be acheived even from a bloke with a good ol beer gut. Cheers.

  • Cocksuckers

  • Nice ass picking at 4:20.

  • he didnt mention attacking the guard itself. he mentioned going through, as in, to attack the head/body.

if you hit the guard meaning to hit it, it can break bones.

  • I feel youve missed the point of what my sifu was saying. Perhaps you should replay the video and listern again? At the start he says the point you initially just said. If you dont understand or can use correctly sticking hands youll experience trouble yes, but having developed good sticking hand techique you make a bridge (attack the guard) but you dont stop.. you act as water and if the way through is guarded (blocked) you then flow arounf it.

  • Not entirely true.

If you try to go THROUGH the guard. Its pointless.

If you actually attack the guard. And successfully hit it properly. You could easily destroy their defence. Though its not advisable, since alot of people know how to move with a punch, and you can deflect punches off of your face AS they touch it. Same can be done with your guard.

  • I like it a lot, big props

  • Impressive technique
