Hello. I am an art teacher too. Do you have a lesson plan for this? I tried to get my students to do something like this and it was a disaster. Please help. Thanks!

We practiced how to curl the paper with scissors, how to fan-fold thin strips, how to "score" paper for 3-D (lips,nose) how to cut a straight line into circles/ovals and overlap the cut for 3-D, and how to make many cuts for straight hair. I have to do this in two comments because brevity is required. See next reply!

Read other reply first! I required a real human face, with hair, eyes, nose, mouth. If hair didn't cover sides, they had to have ears. Eyebrows, glasses, beards, mustaches, hats optional. Ideas had to be creative. Only gave kids white copy paper and tape. I did the frames (black poster board cut into rectangles then corners cut diagonally and all sides folded up). About a week for ALL to be finished,framed,up. Hope this helps! Good luck! If I can help more, let me know! :)

So you don't get to be in your commercial if you're moving - I bet that was sad for you! Wherever you move, you can always get my school email, and I always answer that - or this. Also, feel free to drop in for a visit if you come back once in a while! Same room as always! I hope you have a wonderful year in your new school and have tons of friends!
