  • Hi Lily.

It's quite simple. I use a mix of spellings on my videos so as to pick up users from the US and Canada as well as the UK and the rest of the world.

I also get comments from people in the States pointing out that I've mis-spelt this word when I've added the 'u'....!

I can't win. But then I'm married, so I know that anyway.....

  • Welcome back Bob!

Your videos not only great for painting advice, but also your voice and sense of humour make them great for relaxing to.

  • What is the size of the Mop Brush you are using?

  • The audio worked perfect for me! Still not sure how to do this, but it is worth a try!

  • The audio has deteriorated and is no longer understandable.

  • Too much bla bla bla

  • Not possible? That's a joke.

  • I'm so glad I found these videos. You are a very good teacher.

I use acrylics and have always been wary of watercolours but I think I might give it a try now.

  • As usual an amazing Bob Davies video demonstrations.. Thanks for Bob From poor art Student..

  • Why do you think that paintings that were done during that time had depth of field? Our eyes don't see the depth of field blur like a camera but it is there on canvasses.

  • As soon as the "camera obscura" was invented, artists used it as a painting tool. They would compose their scene with models props and other elements in front of the camera then go inside the camera and paint the scene that was projected on the wall.

  • BEAUTIFULLLLLLL
