As a huge fan I had this song downloaded a long time ago. I just stumbled across the video though. I can state from personal experience that the man still sounds so good even today. I had the pleasure to be in the company of him and his wife a few times this week and even realized a dream come true when he was gracious enough to sing "sing" with me. Such an incredible man!!

Who said children has no power? Bob McGrath could have had a bright future as operatic tenor, but he chose singing and educating children through Sesame Street over decades.

Why didn't Columbia release this album through its Masterworks series? This wonderful voice really deserved it!

I've never heard this version of this song until today, but it's really beautiful. I was watching Lawrence Welk earlier, and they played it. Thanks for posting so that I could hear it! 5 stars!

@coronagarretts Thanks for the info....I really thought it was a Steve Lawrence original.........Andy Williams has his version, too. Wonder if if we have here Frank Sinatra's version. Will search for it ( :

@nancyfloressantos -no, actually originally sung originally by Vic Dana in 1963 shortly after it was used in the film "Mondo Cane". "More" was originally an instrumental and lyrics were added later. My favorite version of this song was recorded by Frank Sinatra with Count Basie and his Orchestra playing a Quincy Jones arrangement in 1963 (album released in 64).

I first heard this version on Who's The Boss,a really,good,family-centered series from the 80s or 90s, and I have been searching for it obssesively since...nearly 10 years!
I got goosebumps when I heard this,though--this is BY FAR the best version of the song !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh this is beautiful. I used to have a Bob McGrath album when I was a kid. I still love the way he sang "Everything is beautiful" on it.
Really nice images you used too. Thanks for posting
