Effigy Hunting - Cave Crawlers 1 Effigy per hour

Cannoning the level 138 cave crawlers in the Desert Slayer Dungeon / Pollnivneach Well seems to be the fastest effigies in the game. The effigy drop rate of monsters only depends on their combat level, and these are level 138 you can kill them extremely fast.

=== Xp gains === - based on 1 trip = 60 minutes
Cannon + steel titan: 165K ranged xp
Whip: 90K attack | CLS: 100K attack | Rapier: 110K attack
Herbicide: 6-7K herblore xp

=== The cost ===
This method of getting effigys is quiet expensive.
Per hour:
- 5400 cannonballs = 1.3M
- overloads, anti++ and pray pots = 350-400k
- chaotic weapon cost = 10% per hour = 200K (20K if repair with tokens)
- 150-200 steel titan scrolls

=== Effigys ===
Cave crawlers (138) are the best way to get effigys. The formula for the droprate for effigys is 11018254*combat level^-1.9469123, so for cave crawlers this is 1/750.
It takes about 65 minutes per effigy, including banking.

=== Steel Titan ===
Why do I use steel titan if I can stay 3-4 hours with yak? The steel titan's job is to lure the cave crawlers towers your cannon. It also does a lot of damage and banking takes no time.

=== Rangers ===
You can also take range instead of melee, then I suggest you take the max ranged bonus you can, you do not need defence as you are praying. Full arma, ranger boots, mercenary's gloves, archer ring, amulet of ranging, unholy book, chaotic crossbow and SLAYER HELMET.
Range goes a lot slower, but you are able to bring a pack yak and stay for 3-4 hours.
You get about 200K ranged xp per hour.

@runkid1k0 i said i CAN get 2-3 effigies an hour, its luck. not that i get them 100% every hour, ive been to tds and ive even had 2 effigies within 5 kills, i said its a possibility, not that i get it sure. but tds give chance on claws shards elite clues, so its better to go get effigies there than do theese pesky things.
