This July's Architect in the House is going green.

The week-long event, where punters get an hour's consultation with an architect in return for a £40+ donation to Shelter, will this year show homeowners how they can cut their carbon.

To see what eco upgrades the professionals recommends, and find out how well we're doing at Newconsumer.tv, we invited eco architect George Stowell round to our house to tell us about solar panels, window seals, heat exchangers and super deep loft insulation.
