A ship that should have gotten a show but never did...

"My God, that's a big ship."

@jadetraveler o yeah now i remember and it was at the battle of chin'toka as an originial

@navalwiz101 I'm pretty sure the Hood was an original Excelsior. I remember at least 1 episode of TNG where the Hood appeared with the Enterprise D, and it looked like an original Excelsior.

Nice video but wasnt Hood an Excelsior mkII?

oh wow... Did you use Star Trek Bridge Commander to get these shots? Very nice!

@TheBlackSpider82 Though I appreciate that not all the Excelsior's/Miranda's would be late/early 23th/24th century ships. USS Charleston (NCC-42285), USS Valley Forge (NCC-43305) and USS ShirKahr (NCC-31905), USS Saratoga (NCC-31911) for example.
It'd be pretty cool if you made a "clip show" of sorts of the USS Hood's career; it's probably made the most appearances and references outside of the hero ships, and it's been in a lot of TNG and DS9, from Encounter at Farpoint to the Dominion War to Nemesis. Could you imagine if the E-E actually met up with her reinforcements? That Captain DeSoto...
