Susumu, a young samurai, takes to wandering, distraught, when the woman he loves commits suicide after his father forbids them to be together. On the road he encounters the truth of the situation and is forced to confront his own fear, anger, and guilt.
A fan film inspired by the graphic novel "Soul of a Samurai" by Will Dixon through Image Comics. We wanted to make a fan film inspired by the classic black and white samurai films like Seven Samurai and Yojimbo as well as modern films like Samurai Fiction and 13 Assassins.

This would of been better with blood geysers shooting out of the decapitated necks of the samurai's enemies.
