I just want to say that I own an XD .45 and intend on getting a 9mm XD-M. As an enthusiast ,I find your videos to be great and in good detail. I learned from your videos how to better convey gun safety. My hats off to you and keep up the good work. And to you sir ,God bless.

This video should be shown to anyone shooting a gun the first time. It's very straightforward and provides a lot of the common sense that most experienced gun owners forgot to teach first timers. I've been saving up for this beautiful gun and doing lots of research. Great job on all 3 parts.

This is a great review. I now own a XD 40 Subcompact and an XDm full size 9mm. Both of these weapons are awesome. Very well made and very accurate. Your videos are very well done and very informative. Keep them coming. THANKS!

this really helps...thanks
which has the better recoil, the xd or xdm?

@losunimo88 If both are 9mm its hard to tell the difference. Most shooters cant tell the difference, but when you spend lots of time with firearms you can notice slight differences. Nothing that would effect point of aim/point of impact, just small differences. Usually tho, the shorter the barrel the more felt recoil.

Ok im stuff between which two guns to buy. I like the XD-m its a great gun but the Ruger 9 mm is a nice gun also. The ruger is $350 at a local gun store and the XdM is $505. Yeah price matters alittle bit but i like both guns. Which one would be a better gun for a novice hand gun shooter?

@toolman1108 If your a novice and depending on the reason you want a firearm really depends on you. If you just want something for basic open or concealed carry & have budget concerns, go with what you can afford.
The great thing about being new is that your a clean slate so you can be a master of either.

O.K., nice review. After firing and handling both, between the xd and xdm, which one do you prefer and why?

@retthok Some upgrades with the XDM vs the XD, but if your on a budget I would go with the XD, especially since the new 3.8s have come out.
