Nothing Else Matters ~ Ch. 1

This is my first story so you know why it's so retarded and amateur-ish.

College. Frat parties, getting drunk, and drama. Was that what it really was all about? Hopefully not because that means trouble for young Rebecca Turner.

Rebecca Turner is young and beautiful. She's only 19 and is starting her first year of college. She has light brown, wavy hair that goes a little bit lower than her shoulders, with bangs that fall to the side of her face. Her green eyes and rosy cheeks only highlight her beauty and her smile can make you stare.

Rebecca is oblivious to the fact that girls envy her and guys want her. Was it going to be the same in college? She'd have to live through it to find out.

(Rebecca's POV)
As the cab pulled up in front of the college, I got knots in my stomach. Was I ready for this? I had to be. I wasn't really scared about my classes. I was usually a straight A student so classes were a no-brainer. What made me nervous was drama.

I never really had to deal with drama and I didn't want to start. Another thing that worried me was guys. I didn't want to get too involved with a guy right now. After all, it was only my first year of college. I had to focus on school. Then, MAYBE I could think about dating.

I didn't know if the movies about college were right, but I could only hope not. That meant idiots who get drunk at parties and only think about sex, girls who's hobbies are to destroy the lives of other innocent girls, and people who classify you as a freak because you don't "fit in." How fun.

The cab driver turned and looked at me. "That'll be twenty-three dollars and forty-seven cents."
I gave him 25 bucks and said, "Keep the change." I grabbed my suitcase and bag and stepped out. I closed the door and watched the cab drive away. I turned around and prepared myself for the adventure of a lifetime.
