Its all the stuff you asked Annie about! After launching the Story of Stuff film, Annie received tens of thousands of emails asking for more information than she could possibly fit into the film. Annie wrote this book to explore these issues further with you and to share a journey both personal and material. While exploring where our t-shirts, laptops and books come from, she also shares her own journey along the way. Annie share stories of how she went from being a high school kid interested in forests to an adult fascinated with garbage to realizing that the real solution lay beyond either of those issues in isolation.

Why is Annie even using an evil iPod when she could be happy in an Amish utopia? Oh, I get it... she wants US to change. That way she can drive to the beautiful mountains in her Prius and sniff the clean air and count her book royalties while the rest of us walk behind a horse or ox guiding a plow to feed each other. Ahhh, the good life! Who really needs televisions, cars and computers anyway?
