A short lecture on Newton's third law of motion.

Newton's third law is about forces and hence action and reaction understanding can be used if we define action and reaction terms as forces. A common question that comes to the minds of most students is, "If the forces are equal and opposite why don't they cancel out"? The answer to this question is provided here.

  • Newton's Third Law is wrong: Although it states that for each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, there is no force equal in reaction to a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.

  • this vid makes no sense plus cant understand ur voice

  • Wasnt Newtons 3rd law open ended? If we fire a rocket into space and it escapes, it goes on forever?

  • You sound like pincipal Figgans from Glee xD

  • Newton Law doesn't talk about the shape of the object in motion. It is very simple: when you run, an equal and opposite force is applied on you. You feel the muscle strain, you feel the air tearing you//so many things works against your body. When you charge up to run, don't you feel pressure from the ground?

  • Can anyobody please tell me newtons third law of motion action reaction for the following? there all in relation to high jump.

1.(Run Up) Leaning in , running in J shaped curve

2.(Take Off) Pushing downwards on the ground

3.(In the Air) Rotating trunk forward

    4.(Landing) hitting the mats

If anyone knows the answer please tell me I really need the help as my teacher hasnt even explained it to me properly :( im at Tafe and its important

    please asap

  • you fanny the 3 law from a round house kick would be the guy hiting the groun from the force

  • It might be funny if i could understand you
