  • this song stands very true....

  • Freddie Hart wrote and recorded this song earlier in 1954 and had some on the verge success with it, until Carl released this version late that fall. Well, needless to say Freddie was completely blown out of the water by this swinging, foot stomping yee haw rendition that became onf of Carl's signature recordings. Also his 5th and last #1 hit.
