An unusual welcome p/a by the captain (Phil Shaw) of this GB Airways flight (BA for all intents and purposes) from Malta to Manchester. BA6823, A320-232, G-TTOH, 13th May 2007

  • Excellent

  • nice video

  • This sort of thing, whilst unusual, strikes me as being both good P.R. for the company and an added reassurance for any nervous flyers.

  • What a good captain. He really excells at customer service.

  • @nocalsteve Seeing as they're on the ground at this point and thus the chance of an explosive decompression is fairly small unless Malta sits atop a 30,000 ft high plateau, I'm fairly sure the F/O is NOT wearing his oxygen mask and is less likely 'fuming' than simply filling in the FMC for the flight. Regards.
