Miscellaneous: Terry had a late start in the sport of Strongman as he began his athletic career in judo, and placed fourth in the British Judo Championships when he was only 14. His enormous size, however, made him ideal for football and so he also played professional rugby for the London-based based Harlequins for two years and another two years for a New Zealand team. When Hollands suffered a career-ending injury, he found solace in the weight room and decided to focus on Strongman. He made it to the TWI World's Strongest Man Contest after only six months of training and has been a top contender on the European Strongman circuit ever since.
