Sparkling multiple-unit trains of interurban and rapid transit cars speeding along the mainline. The motor hum of powerful electric locomotives hauling freight trains. Great video thanks for sharing. Have a friend in Illinois - would be so good to come and visit. UK museums are so limited in track lengths makes a change to see even a little speed.

Truly amazing! Really loved the footage. I was amazed at the length of some of the Interurbans as you forget over time! The IRM would be a nice place to visit. I've seen footage of the OERM many years ago and I think the IRM has a slight edge.
