Mac & Rachel 1984--Mac in the Hospital

Rachel rushes into the ER and asks where Mac is, because she got a call that he was just admitted. Before the nurse at the desk can answer, a visibly upset Jamie approaches his mother and tells her that he found Mac unconscious in his office and brought him to the hospital. Rachel asks where Mac is now and whether or not Jamie has called Sandy. Jamie tearfully says that yes, he called Sandy, and that Mac is in an examining room and they won't let anybody back there with him. He starts to break down as he says he hopes he got Mac here in time, because he was so still. Rachel hugs her firstborn and assures him that he did the right thing and that Mac will be all right. A doctor approaches then, and Rachel asks how Mac is. The doctor wants to sit down and talk, but Rachel just wants to know how Mac is.

Rachel is then allowed to see the unconscious Mac, and she tells him they're all with him and she's not leaving him. Then she tells Mac she loves him and kisses him. He remains unconscious and doesn't respond. Thanks to Eddie for the scenes.
