Sunken Snowmobile Retrieval from Under Ice

This is a video of a snowmobile we retrieved when it went through the ice. We used a 250lb lift bag on the front with a 75lb lift bag on the back. The foam in the seat made the back end quite light. Water half filled the gauges and headlight. The snowmobile was running again in two days after all the water was drained out. You can see the lift bags sliding along the underside of the ice surface. @motoxracer33 We used two lift bags, a 250lb one and a 75 lb one on the back and pulled it back under the ice to an area where there was thicker ice. Then we used a truck winch. It came out easy.

@TheSponger4life The young fellow we retrieved it for had it running two days later after disassembly, drying, lubricating and reassembly, so the value would have been pretty good. : )
