In this video I will be showing you a brief demonstration on how to make your video appear High Definition. I will be using Camtasia studio 6, 5 will work as well. You can also use Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 as well as media encoder and ETC.

Things You Will Need:

Camtasia studio 5/6

Quicktime Player

And a Avi File.

To Download quicktime player go to:

http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/.

Methods To Help You Out If The HD Option Did Not Appear On Your Video:

Once you upload your video, you have to wait 1 hour for the HD option to appear. YouTube has to first check the video and see if its qualified to be in HD. The longer the video the longer it will take to show up. Please be patient. If after 1 hour the video still does not have the HD option please watch my video on "How To Help Make Your Videos HD When Recording From CamTasia Studio 5/6". This option only works when your recording your screen. I also recommend that when you are choosing the size for the video to make sure you put your desktop resolution (This only works when your record your screen).

  • Help? xD I already downloaded Quicktime 7, but then when I select the MOV file then I click next, it says that I need to download the TechSmith Ensharpen Quicktime Codec.

Or to reinstall Camtasia Studio 6. I did but it still said the same..Then I downloaded the codec from the TechSmith website and still says the same. Please help on that?
