UF Student tasered at John Kerry Speech

this made me sick man...i can't believe it

so tell me y was he about to get arrested

this fucker didnt get tased for speaking his mind, he got tased for resisting arrest. y is this so difficult for ppl to understand, i dont know this particular departments policy on taser use, but he probly could have been tased at around the 1:40 mark when he pulled away from the officers

it was ignored because the police didnt think Andrew deserved to hear the Answer to his Question

there is absolutly no reason why the cops could not have waited for Kerry to deliver the answer THEN take him into custody

clearly the hasty police action caused the vocal protest and further escalated the situation

these cops were just itching to use that taser huh

I'm sure every criminal would rather they be allowed to juset "walk out" than be arrested for breaking the law. The fact is, Meyer broke no less than 5 laws, all of them AFTER the Q&A had been announced to be over. He threw a fit because he wasn't going to get to ask a question, started yelling at Kerry & pushing his way to the mic. It's all in the Police reports & eyewitness accounts, which are still readily available.

There was not complete freedom of speech here. It was a school run event with rules in place for asking questions of senator kerry and if they didn't like it, you're out, and guess what. Perfectly fine to do. He can organize his own forum, invite Kerry to it and ask all the questions he wants without fear of being shut down by the police or gov't, that's freedom of speech. He can throw out anyone HE doesn't want there, just like they did to him in their forum. That's freedom of speech.

Nothing happened to freedom of speech, there is no such thing when there are rules in place against using vulgarity at a forum that's being run by other people and you are a guest.

Damn man the kid was just trying to ask some questions and John Kerry was fine with it! he was answering him! no offence to jhon kerry, i like him, but Is john kerry some superior human that nobody can ask him questions? is he so good that you can be arrested for trying to talk to him? man the kid had some good points too.
