@hazemvirus - The AMG Performance Studio in Affalterbach gives owners the opportunity to customize their vehicle aside from all series options. The Yosemite Blue SLS AMG was done as a sample car to give people an idea of what can be done. The color is not available as a series color; therefore, it has to be done afterwards. The colored carbon fiber options are also only available through the AMG Performance Studio.

Why yes, I'm a mechanic. Or were you being sarcastic? Sorry, my common sense comes with a jerk to jerk reaction. Bad habit. Try not to contradict yourself by fighting back on youtube and telling me to grow up. See, there I go again. I'm a damn shame huh? Your subscriber sounds familiar btw.

@tjwakaa do you have a job other than annoying this guy? seriously grow up dude

I'll up your comment just to be nice sweety

You're telling me to grow up and you attack this video so abrasively without even thinking about the service thoroughly, you just want to haze benz. Name one company that does customizations in any color besides whats offered straight out the factory. You could ask for pink paint and blue interior if you wanted.
And you assumed Mercedes would delete your comment. The user(s) is professional, not some immature kid.

@tjwakaa i said something and they answered me back with a point, so grow up

You got owned.

Hate when you put it all back together, and you have a handful of nuts and bolts left over....

I'd give my soul, legs, and left arm to work with AMG, that'd be the sweetest job in the world. The precision and craftsmanship is amazing.

The color seems similar to R8 GT Spyder blue.
@OfficialMercedesAMG why wouldn't you just order an unpainted body and the parts direct from the factory to save you all the trouble of sanding down and repainting and taking apart the car?

@japster1113 - For a new car there are two options: For paint jobs that can be processed by the industrial machines there is a code PA1. With this, the car will be painted in the factory with lacquers other than the series offerings. Paint jobs that use lacquers which can not be processed by industrial machines have to be done afterwards. This car was one of our test cars that we then used as a sample car to show the possibilities of the AMG Performance Studio.

@OfficialMercedesAMG i'm not sure you answered my question. What i understood is that you do "Paint jobs that use lacquers which can not be processed by industrial machines have to be done afterwards." I understand that the car you used in the video is a sample. But under normal circumstances, do you take an unpainted body from the factory or take one that has already been painted and sand it down?

@japster1113 - It depends on the customer's choice. If he orders a new car and chooses a paint job, aside from all available series options, which can not be processed by industrial machines, then the car must be sanded down as we can not take an unpainted car off the assembly line. If he chooses a lacquer that can be processed, the car will run normally on the assembly line. If a customer already has a car, there is no other way but to sand the old paint job down. We hope this helps!
